Our vision is to connect people with health, anywhere, anytime, on any device.

Originally, Professor Pruski whose research aims to help people with autism, joined forces with PhD Moussaoui, passionate about algorithms. The merging of their knowledge and expertise has made possible to develop an apprehending scenes mode of everyday life through virtual reality. They decided to develop a non contact heart rate measurement tool: this is the genesis of Caducy.

A strong team to improve the healthcare experience

A dedicated team of about twenty people with complementary roles skills and backgrounds. The strength of this team is based on its multidisciplinary: engineers in computer vision, artificial intelligence and quality. But also, researchers, PHD, developers, and a sales and marketing team.

Associate

Master engineer with a Master degree in Business Administration from IAE in Bordeaux, he is also passionate about new technologies.

Entrepreneur for 12 years, he founded and managed two companies (Kubenboa et Cognityk).

He joined i-Virtual as CEO in 2019.

Benoît Georis

Associate

Benoît brings a wealth of experience in developing and scaling software start-ups. He spent the last 10 years as a deep tech Investment Director at pre-seed and seed stages, identifying game-changing technologies and supporting them to become defining players on their market. From 2005 to 2011, he was co-founder and CEO of Keeneo, an ISV commercializing intrusion detection systems based on video footage processing.

He positioned the company as an EMEA leader and closed a successful M&A with AIM-listed Digital Barriers PLC in July 2011. He holds a PhD in AI and video processing from INRIA, the French leading research center on Computer Science.

PhD Abdelhak Moussaoui

Co-founder

PhD in automation engineering, he is an expert in algorithms, signal processing and optimization. Researcher at the university of Lorraine, he has created several companies in France and abroad in the field of 3D.

Speaker at the University of Lorraine for 13 years, he has also been an HDR (Habilitation to direct research) speaker. PhD Moussaoui has supervised 30 papers and co-authored and directed 2 theses.

Fabrice de Oliveira

Head of Research

Fabrice is a PhD and an accomplished senior research engineer and project manager at i-Virtual. He specializes in human-centric research with a multidisciplinary expertise including thermophysiology, psychophysiology, and data science. Holder of a patent for individualizing physiological responses and contributor to over 20 papers, his leadership in supervising 4 PhDs underscores his commitment to innovative health solutions.

His focus on AI applications in preventive healthcare embodies the vision of “taking care of everyone today for the health of tomorrow”.

Agathe Groell

Head of Quality & Regulatory Affairs and PRRC

Agathe is a pharmacist who graduated with a Master’s degree in Medical Devices and Regulatory Affairs from UTC (Université de Technologie de Compiègne) in 2019. She joined the start-up i-Virtual in 2021 as the Quality and Regulatory Affairs Manager to support the certification and market release of their first medical device software: Caducy.

Pr Alain Pruski

Scientific Advisor

Co-Founder

Skilled Professor at the university of Lorraine, he is specializes in cognitive simulation and the fusion of data from physiological sensors.

He directed the Laboratory of Automatics of Cooperative Systems (LACS) specializing in computer science, automation engineering, electronics and neuroscience, and admnistered the Federative Institute for Research on Technical Aids for People with disabilities (FIRTAPD).

During his career, Pr. Pruski has supervised over 200 papers and written 21 theses in the field of science and its many uses for healthcare.

Edem Allado

Founder of Rumb Lecturer & Hospital practitioner at the University of Lorraine & University Hospital of Nancy

Rheumatologist, university lecturer-hospital practitioner, specialized in physiology, clinical and strategic expert, appointed as a reference by BPI France in the context of Medical Device (MD) diagnosis, Edem’s main expertise is based on field experience in the hospital environment, innovation and the journey of medical devices before and after they go to market.

Alongside the Nancy CHRU and Rumb, which he founded, he designed and conducted the two clinical studies, Cardiasens I and Cardiasens II, which made it possible to determine the performance and limits of the Caducy medical device.

i-Virtual is ISO 13485:2016 compliant. This standard specifies the quality management system requirements for the medical device industry.

Caducy, the medical device provided by i-Virtual is CE certified Class IIa under MDR 2017/745.

“PHYSIO’PLUS” is co-financed by European Union in the operational program FEDER-FSE Lorraine and Massif des Vosges 2014-2020 and is accompanied by the European Union‘s emblem.

PHYSIO’PLUS is a solution for measuring heart rate and its conversion into blood pressure value by artificial intelligence, all without contact, with a simple webcam and integrable in all teleconsultation and telemedicine solutions.

The first objective of PHYSIO’PLUS is to develop a technological brick certified as a medical device. The second objective is to successfully integrate it into a teleconsultation platform.
